Inquiry by Design - The Making of a Successful Market

Design Principles Document

This document was produced following research completed in the summer
of 2021. The guide promotes best practice for the design and management
of markets, specifically within market towns. Though this document can be
utilised to inform good design for all market types and locations.

It recommends both management tools and spatial organisation to maximise
the potential for public markets to bring more people and business into town
centres within the UK.
