I grew up in Littleover, a suburb of Derby (The East Midlands NOT the North). I had a fabulous childhood and loved living close to all my friends and only a short walk to school in a safe and close community.

I was a Brownie and a Girl Guide from the age of 6 to 16 and loved being apart of a positive group of like-minded people that enjoyed the outdoors, adventure and creativity.

While I grew up in a urban environment I also spent a large amount of time in North Wales on my Grandparents' farm, and enjoyed the freedom of open space.
